Harvard Allston Campus Three-Bedroom Two Bath Executive Apartment Overview

First Impressions

Walking up to Harvard Allston Campus Three-Bedroom Two Bath Executive Apartment on Riverdale Street, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical hotel experience — and that’s exactly the point. This three-star property sits in one of those quiet Allston residential pockets that locals know about but tourists often miss. The building has that classic Boston charm without being overly polished, which honestly feels more authentic than some of the sterile downtown options.

The Space That Changes Everything

Here’s what really sets this place apart: you’re getting an actual apartment, not just a hotel room with a mini-fridge. The three bedrooms mean you can spread out properly — I mean, when’s the last time you had that much space while traveling? The two full bathrooms are a game-changer if you’re traveling with friends or family (no more awkward morning routines). The kitchen is fully functional too, which saves you from eating out every single meal. You know what I appreciated most? Having a real living room where you can actually relax in the evening instead of sitting on a hotel bed watching TV.

Location & Neighborhood

Allston gets overlooked by a lot of visitors, but it’s actually one of Boston’s most vibrant neighborhoods — especially if you want to experience the city like a local rather than a tourist. You’re close enough to Harvard that you can easily explore Cambridge, but far enough from the tourist crowds that you’ll pay reasonable prices for food and drinks. The area has this great mix of students, young professionals, and families, so there’s always something happening. Recent guests rated the location highly at 8.1, and honestly, I get why — you’re connected to everything without being in the middle of the chaos.

Why Couples Are Choosing This Spot

The feedback shows couples particularly love this place, and after staying here, it makes perfect sense. There’s something romantic about having your own temporary Boston apartment rather than a standard hotel room. You can cook breakfast together, have wine on the couch in the evening, and actually have space to breathe. The neighborhood has some really solid date night spots too — from cozy cafes to interesting restaurants that locals frequent. Plus, when you want to explore downtown Boston or Cambridge, you’re just a short ride away on public transit.

Why Guests Keep Coming Back

With an 8.6 rating, this property clearly does something right, and I think it comes down to value and authenticity. You’re getting way more space than a traditional hotel room, in a neighborhood that feels genuinely Boston, at a price point that won’t destroy your travel budget. The apartment setup means you can live like a local for a few days — grab groceries, cook some meals, and really settle in. It’s perfect for longer stays or when you’re traveling with a group and want everyone to have their own space. Sure, you won’t get daily housekeeping or a concierge, but what you gain is a real sense of place and the freedom to experience Boston on your own terms.

Boston’s hotels wrap guests in cobblestone charm, butler service, and concierge-led campus tours.

Great spot for a large family. Parking was doable with no limits on street parking overnight, and we were gone during the day so it worked. It's a good base for exploring Boston if you have transportation, and has a grocery store around the corner. The staff responded quickly and took care of us when we had a problem getting in.

The apartment was well suited for 8 people. There was enough space in the kitchen and dining room for everyone as well as in the living room.

The self check-in was easy and really convenient, we drove out from California for an east coast music tour so it was important to be able to check ourselves in. The host communication was great and the place itself was really nice and well equipped. An awesome place to land after a long drive.
    Thanks, again!!

  • Yves from Belgium (7/10)

Great location for people willing to be near Harvard University/ square ( walking distance). Everything needed was available inside the apartment ( for cooking washing ). Very quiet area despite construction work nearby. Starbucks and Trader's Joe at one minute's walk. good airco. The beds are comfortable.
