Here’s what I love about staying here — you’re literally in the thick of everything that makes this neighborhood special. Newbury Street stretches out in both directions with its mix of high-end boutiques, cozy cafes, and art galleries. The Public Garden is just a few blocks away, and if you’re into the whole Freedom Trail thing, you can easily walk to most of the historic sites. What really impressed me though is how couples seem to gravitate toward this spot — apparently they rate the location super highly for romantic getaways, and I can see why. There’s something about strolling down Newbury Street in the evening that just works.

Your Space

The room I stayed in had that boutique hotel feel without being pretentious about it. Clean lines, comfortable furnishings, and — this matters more than you’d think — really good blackout curtains. The space felt thoughtfully designed rather than cookie-cutter, which you sometimes get with larger hotel chains. I mean, it’s not going to blow you away with size, but everything you need is there and it’s done well. The bathroom was modern and the shower had excellent water pressure, which honestly can make or break a stay for me.

One thing that sets this place apart is the parking situation — they actually have private parking available on-site. If you’ve ever tried to park in Back Bay, you’ll know this is basically like finding gold. Most hotels in this area either don’t have parking at all or charge you an arm and a leg for valet service somewhere blocks away. Being able to park right at the hotel and not worry about street parking or walking several blocks with your luggage? That’s a real game-changer, especially if you’re driving into the city.
