The Room Experience

My room was on the eighth floor facing the harbor, and I have to say — the view actually delivered. Hampton Inn rooms tend to follow a pretty standard formula, but this one felt more spacious than usual, maybe because of the high ceilings and large windows. The bed was that perfect firmness where you sink in just enough, and the work desk by the window made checking emails almost pleasant (almost). I mean, it’s not going to win any design awards, but everything worked exactly as it should, from the shower pressure to the blackout curtains that actually blocked out the city lights.

Amenities & Practical Stuff

The fitness center is small but well-equipped — I managed a decent workout on the treadmill while watching the harbor through floor-to-ceiling windows. Their complimentary breakfast is classic Hampton Inn style, which means hot coffee, decent scrambled eggs, and that waffle station that somehow always makes hotel stays feel a little more special. What I didn’t expect was how useful the 24-hour business center would be for printing boarding passes and catching up on work. The parking situation is what you’d expect in Boston — pricey but available, though honestly, you might not need a car once you’re here.
