  The Fairmont is a historic hotel in the centre of Copley Plaza. The location is excellent and is in the heart of Back Bay which is a great location for first time visitors. We had a rental car with us and the hotel had a free valet service. The interiors of the hotel definitely give an old-timey feel, so if you're into history and architecture, then you'll definitely be pleased. I thought the elevator had a slight old smell (perhaps moldy or rusty? i dont know) but not significant enough for my rating to be affected. I travelled with my family of 4 and stayed in a Double Queen bed room. The room is well equipped and had everything we needed. Breakfast was included in our package and the food was decent as well. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend.

  The room was exceptionally large and beautiful. It had double sinks in the bathroom and a walk-in closet. Everything was clean and beautifully appointed. The beds (two queens) were very comfortable. The hotel itself is in a perfect location and near a myriad of restaurants and activities.
