You can walk to the Freedom Trail in about two minutes, grab incredible Italian food in the North End without breaking a sweat, or head over to the waterfront when you need some air. What I love is that you’re close enough to everything touristy, but the immediate neighborhood has this authentic Boston energy — there’s always something happening on the street, but it’s not overwhelming. The T is super accessible too, which makes getting around the city actually enjoyable.

The Room Experience

The room design really reflects Canopy’s whole vibe — it’s modern but not sterile, comfortable without trying too hard. The windows are generous, so you get great natural light during the day, and honestly, the beds are exactly what you want after walking around Boston all day. I appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the local artwork and the way they’ve incorporated subtle nods to the city’s character. The bathrooms are well-designed too — good water pressure and enough space to actually spread out your stuff.

Morning Fuel

Breakfast here leans American, which works perfectly for the location and the crowd they’re serving. You know what I mean — it’s substantial enough to fuel a day of sightseeing, but not so heavy that you feel sluggish walking around the city. The restaurant space has this energetic morning buzz that actually gets you excited about the day ahead. I found myself lingering over coffee longer than usual, partly because the atmosphere was so pleasant and partly because I was planning out which historic sites to hit first.

  The location was great, right next to the food market and close to the station. The bedroom was very comforatble and clean. We used the gym a couple of times which was also excellent. They also had bikes we could take out for free.
